Commercial Junk Removal in Metro Vancouver

Clear unwanted business contents with a defined scope and an approved price. TrashThat collects accepted furniture, equipment, packaging and other suitable junk from business premises across our 11 Metro Vancouver service areas.

Choose the right starting point for your business

An office move, a tenant turnover and a shop clearout create different removal jobs. Start with the space and the items you need removed, then tell us what must stay. We can assess a small collection or a larger clearout; the amount, weight, access and disposal requirements determine the agreed scope.

Office managers can use our office cleanout guidance for furniture and equipment. Property managers can use the tenant-turnover checklist to coordinate authorization, building access and a price-approval contact. Suitable renovation materials need a separate material and weight assessment.

  • Offices: unwanted desks, chairs, storage furniture and accepted equipment.
  • Rental properties: authorized furniture, belongings and common-area items approved for removal.
  • Shops, warehouses and restaurants: describe the contents, packaging and ready-to-collect items first; equipment and heavy loads need individual review.

Identify the contents before arranging collection

Send a rough inventory and note large, dense or unusual items. Photos are optional and can help explain the job, but they do not replace the onsite assessment. Pallets, unusually heavy equipment and dense debris need a weight, handling and disposal review before scheduling.

Arrange any required plumbing, gas or electrical disconnection with an appropriately qualified professional. Tell us if equipment is fixed to a building, requires dismantling or contains unknown materials so the collection and handling requirements can be assessed.

Hazardous chemicals, asbestos, medical waste and unsafe or restricted materials are excluded. Keep uncertain substances separate and identify them before a pickup is agreed. Agree any data or document-handling requirements before collection. Ordinary electronics hauling does not automatically include certified data destruction.

Coordinate loading access with your building

Check the loading bay, parking restrictions, service-elevator rules and permitted working times with your building or site contact. Include the floor, stair access, long carrying distances, narrow doors and any route restrictions in your booking notes. Coordinate the two-hour arrival window with the building; allow for the job duration separately.

Tell us your deadline and any request for collection outside ordinary business activity. We will discuss appointment availability and access with you. Arrange the elevator reservation with your building and confirm any after-hours request with us before the visit.

Keep the agreed collection route clear and separate the removal items from stock, equipment or belongings that must remain. Our crew handles the agreed lifting and loading where safe access is available. If you cannot attend, discuss access, item confirmation, price approval and payment arrangements in advance.

Approve the scope and total before work begins

Choose an available appointment online or call to discuss a larger job. The crew reviews the actual contents, access, labour and disposal requirements and provides a free onsite quote. Reserving an appointment does not require a credit card, and there is no obligation to accept the quote.

Identify the person who can approve the price, especially when the onsite contact and the business decision-maker are different people. We explain any additional handling or disposal charges before that work starts. If the inventory changes, have the additional items included in an updated quote for approval.

After you accept the quote, we carry out the agreed removal and cleanup. Payment is due when the job is complete. Tell us in advance if your organization needs particular invoice details, a purchase-order reference or repeat collections, so we can discuss the arrangements.

Common questions

Can we book a small business pickup instead of a whole premises cleanout?

Yes. Describe the items and access so we can assess a small pickup or a larger job. Acceptance, the onsite quote and appointment availability still apply.

Can you collect while our business is closed?

Tell us the requested time and building-access rules before booking. Confirm appointment availability, the site contact and the access arrangements with us before the visit.

Do you handle heavy equipment and restaurant appliances?

Describe each item, approximate size and weight, and whether it is disconnected and ready for collection. Heavy or unusual equipment requires a separate handling and disposal assessment. Arrange required qualified disconnection before pickup.

Can the manager approve the quote remotely?

Yes, with arrangements discussed in advance. Agree access, how the manager will confirm the items and price, and payment arrangements before the appointment.

Does the two-hour window describe how long the cleanout will take?

No. It is the arrival window. The duration depends on the agreed contents, access, loading and disposal requirements. Explain any building deadline before arranging the appointment.
